Iguazu Falls are rightfully considered one of the most beautiful in the world. They are included in the list of “seven natural wonders of the world” and annually attract up to 2 million tourists, which makes the cascade of waterfalls one of the most visited places in all of South America.

Iguazu Falls are located in the central part of South America, closer to its Atlantic coast. The complex of waterfalls is located on the Iguazu River of the same name, along which the border of Argentina and Brazil passes. The Parana River flows 28 km from here, along which both countries border on Paraguay.

Iguazu is not a single waterfall, but a huge complex of 275 waterfalls. It covers an area of 3 km² along the course of the river. The entire territory is part of the Iguazu National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The park itself is divided between Argentina and Brazil. The first got 70% of the protected area. The Brazilian side is famous for its observation platforms, which are located on the plateau and offer the best view of the main waterfall of the system – the Devil’s Throat.
