In the midst of all the attractions of the Sacred Valley, the Sol & Luna Lodge and Resort offers ecologically sustainable luxury lodging in a charmingly rustic setting. Circular one- and two-story private bungalows (known as “muyus”) line the property, surrounded by beautiful flower gardens. The hotel boasts a ranch with shows featuring Peruvian Paso horses, and horseback riding expeditions can be arranged to anywhere in the region. The ranch also hosts weaving demonstrations, barbeques and theater. Visitors can unwind with a facial or massage in the luxurious spa, and the Killa Wasi Restaurant is known as one of the best places for Novo Andino food around — specialties include alpaca curry and shrimp carpaccio with kingfish.
