star rating  I found Fertur Travel through a random web search – and am so grateful that fate (and the search algorithms!) connected me to my wonderful travel agent Milagros!

Milagros guided me through creating a custom itinerary to Cusco/Machu Picchu, even with the super limited amount of time my group had available. Throughout the whole process, Milagros was wonderfully empathetic and capable in both accommodating our needs, and answering my (many!) questions in a reassuring and understanding way.

The trip was outstanding. I saw so many beautiful sights in such a short amount of time, with all the logistics carefully planned out and executed. Another big shout-out for our local guides Richard and Ceferino, who were super knowledgeable about the area’s history and culture – and shared it in an engaging and energetic way that drew me in and held my interest.

I highly recommend Fertur Travel and would hire them again in a heartbeat if I ever return to Perú. ¡Muchísimas gracias, Milagros and team!

star rating  Perù Culturale Travel 14D - In 14 days we had the time to visit a lot of think. It was funny likes in Haurachina with dune buggy and Sand boarding. Amazing on the 40 minutes Flight over Nasca lines. Cultural during the city visit with our guides in Lima, in Arequipa, Cusco. No words for the beauty of Ollantaytambo historical site...and much more on Machu Picchu. All guides were very good on their description. Travels (bus, taxi, etc) on time. All very well organized by the agency that we contact by email/phone directly from Italy. Special thanks to Petra that follows us in every details and ready to answer to out questions.

star rating  Unforgetable 3 weeks in Peru - We (group of 3) had the most amazing time during our (still short) 3 week stay in Peru.
Our itinerary was a bit different than normal, we stayed in Puerto Maldonado for the first 4 days, then 6 days in Cusco, where we did the Inka trail and the rainbow mountain, and then on to Puno and Titicaca Lake, Chivay to visit the Colqa Canyon and the condors, and finally Arequipa before returning to Lima on our way home.

This trip would not be possible without the amazing support of the good people at Fertur. From the very first moment, they response time was very very fast, and they were very open to accomodate all of our requests, and also our sometimes sudden change of minds 😀

With our plan set and ready to start our trip, we really have to mention the great support we had during our stay. Information would be communicated ahead of time and whenever we had something unforseen come up (like it always happen in any trip), their response would be very fast, making us feel like we were in very safe hands, and all we had to do was enjoy.

All the organization was 5 stars, from all the tours, transfers and hotels, we never had a single bad surprise, or any expense outside of what we had already paid for.

We definetely recommend Fertur to organize your holiday in Peru, for sure not only you won't be dissapointed, but they will blow away your wildest expectations as they did ours 🙂

star rating  A trustworthy agency  - After considerable research, we booked our Peru holiday of 16 days (excluding flights) with Fertur. Our agent, Milagros, was very friendly and supportive in completing our itinerary and bookings, including some very last-minute changes from us. At all times, the approach from Fertur and Milagros was professional. They handled the logistics and local operational details such as guides, drivers, hotels, internal flights, rail tickets, etc. Advice was also provided on restaurants.

An area where Fertur needs to improve is in communication. During the itinerary confirmation and booking process, there were occasions when I had to chase to get an update - more proactive and regular updates would have been appreciated. Another area where improvement is needed is they should have informed us of alternative internal flight schedules and rail schedules before booking the tickets.

Overall the holiday went smoothly and we had a delightful and memorable holiday in Peru. This would not have been possible without Fertur.

star rating  Peru has been on my bucket list for years and for my mom's even longer. I stumbled on FERTUR PERU Travel and it was the best decision I made to book with them. I did 2 weeks of a perfectly planned trip from transportation, flights, train, bus, hotels, food, tours, and guides. The experience is one I will never forget.

Itinerary included: Week 1-Flew into Lima where we explored the city, Islas Ballestas, Huacachina, Flew over Nasca Lines and back to Lima. Then Week 2- we flew to Cusco where we did: Sacred Valley, Ollantaytambo, Aguascalientes/ Machu Picchu. Then flew to Trujillo where we did city, Huachaca beach and Chan Chan. I wish I had done Puno while being so close in the south and I would have wanted to do Moray and Salinas de mar while i did Sacred Valley.

Transportations: The agency's pick up/transfer transportation was clean, on time and the service of all the guys were amazing. Very informative, helpful and drove safely. The buses to Nasca were first class with seats that can recline almost into a bed. Totally worth it for 4-6 hrs bus ride. LATAM flights from Lima, Cusco and Trujillo were pretty good. Airport was easy and no long waiting in lines. The train to Aguascaliente, we took it from Ollantaytambo and the lines were long, people were pushing, but don't worry; your cabin and seat are assigned. Just make sure you there on time. The return was smoother. Note the area is known to have mudslides so the train may delay, or they will transfer you via bus with the same train ticket.

Accommodations: I cant say enough about the hotels. Every single hotel was cozy, clean, safe, and had so many amenities. (You can choose hotel to suit your budgets.) One nigh in Trujillo had beautiful view to main plaza but was little noisy; however, by 11pm it was quiet. The front desk did offer to change to accommodate but it was ok in the end.

Food: I am a foodie!!! I enjoyed Peruvian food so much, I am nostalgic right now just thinking about it. The ceviche and all its variations were the best! We tried everything from street food (choclo on the cob with cheese, kiwicha, and maca), alpaca, lomo saltado, rocoto relleno, grilled heart, so many variations of aji and potation, and even the famous Cuy. The drinks were just as amazing. Maracuya Pisco sour is officially my drink of choice or a Cusquena Dorada.

The tour guides: Silvia, Cynthia, Marco, Nydia and Gabriel were more than just guides. They went above and beyond to make us experience their culture outside of the eyes of regular tourists. We stopped on street sides to get local foods, they knew the anecdotal jokes and told the history in ways that made me come home and research more. They were patient with my mom who probably walked little slower, and answered her million questions. Thank you guys!

Tipping: I come from tourism industry where tipping is such a norm. I know many of the employees in this sector look forward for the tips to supplement their salaries. I found tipping here very uncommon. Perhaps just my experience. In restaurants the credit card machine didn't always allow to add tip, so i recommend you have soles to leave for staff.

Must know before you go: check the weather, it changes constantly, in Cusco the altitude will affect your body. We took Sorojchi pills every 8 hrs starting half hr before we took off from Lima and honestly we felt fine! If you plan to exchange USD to soles take $50 or $100 you get better exchange rate than $20 and below. Take your bottled water on tours its cheaper.

Overall- if you are thinking about it, don't think any further just BOOK IT! You wont regret it! Perla worked with me the entire time, checked up on me daily and made it feel like i had a friend guiding me there the whole time. Thank you!

star rating  Fertur Travel gave us a spectacular time in Peru - I arranged a family vacation with Fertur Travel for my kids and I to camp in the Pacaya Samiria national reserve. Unfortunately, I planned and paid for the trip in 2020 just weeks before the Covid-19 pandemic hit. We had to cancel the trip for 3 years (2020-22). During this time, the owners of Fertur Travel were not able to offer a refund, as they were working to stay in business. But they did keep in contact with me providing assurance they would help make the trip a reality as soon as possible.

My kids and I were finally able to take the trip in June 2023 and it was spectacular! Fertur Travel was able to maintain nearly the same itinerary that we had planned in 2019. In addition, they went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of, even to the point of the owner meeting us at the airport to greet us and then again to send us off. During the trip, they were consistently in contact to make sure transfers were going smoothly and to make sure we were happy (we were!).

I highly recommend Fertur Travel. They have great integrity, and went above-and-beyond to make sure my family had a great experience.

star rating  Peru.... the land of wonders and amazing vistas! - Fertur travel arranged a trip of a lifetime! We started in Lima and had the most amazing guide. we went to Casa Aliaga, and the highlight was meeting the President at the government palace.

We then continued to Lake Titicaca and the floating islands. It was incredible. Continuing on to Machu Picchu, and a tour of the citadel and temple. It was breathtaking!
One of the highlights was taking a Hiram Brigham train from Aguas Calientes to Cusco.
Overall,
The Fertur team took amazing care of us....

star rating  Near Perfect Trip in late April and early May - Fertur did an excellent job of arranging for our 17-day tour of Bolivia and Peru. We had wanted to ride the Andean Explorer to Cusco, but Belmond didn't' resumed operating that route yet. Fertur replaced the luxury train trip with tours in and around Arequipa. Although I was on the same itinerary the 1st time I went to Peru in 2001, I still enjoyed it very much, thanks to our excellent guide Arra and drive Moses.

All our guides and drivers were excellent, pleasant and helpful and my travel mate and I love them.

The choice of hotels was fabulous, despite a hardship stay at Hotel Tayka del Desierto (I will write to Fertur to suggest tweaking the itinerary a little to cut out one night stay there). Sanctuary Lodge at Machu Picchu was wonderful. It's not cheap, but you can't beat the service, the amenities, and location.

This is the 3rd time I travel with Fertur. I have referred Fertur to colleagues and family, and they reported that they're more than satisfied. I'll continue to use Fertur when I return to the region.

Thank you to the Fertur Team!
